Same diameter isn’t enough.
Check pitch, length, head clearance and drive size. Furniture screws may be self-tapping or proprietary. This tool makes a blunt, fully threaded machine screw with an approximate 60° profile.
Start with a fit test.
Import the STL in millimetres at 100% scale. Head-down orientation is supplied for convenience; layer direction affects strength. Try fine layers, keep supports off threads, and never force a tight fit.
Plastic isn’t a metal spare.
Small threads and repeated tightening are difficult. Resin or SLS can capture finer detail, but material and process still determine durability. Read the printing guidance ↗
